Just a little information I though might be useful if anyone is looking at buying and using trail cameras.  Over the last few years, I have tried alot of trail cameras, and just recently found two that both work well.  The Cuddeback trail camera and "New" Bushnell Trophy XLT trail cameras both work great and provide clear pictures.  If i had to choose one over the other, it owould be the Bushnell Trophy XLT as it also displays the Date/Time/Moon and Temperature stamp on every image and is also only an amazing 3.5" x 5".  Knowing the moon phase and temperatures are a must for any professional guide.  Thanks to our good friend Luke Hartle, Associate Editor of North American Hunter for putting us on this great product.

**Note**  Being a full time lodge owner/outfitter/guide and avid hunter in Manitoba, my equipment, especially my optics can never fail me.  Guding and Hunting, I have seen some of the nastiest weather conditions and my Zeiss Optics have never failed.  Up on Manitoba's unpredictable tundra, the mountains and big water of Alaska, scouting divers on big water here on Lake Manitoba or chasing big canadian northern whitetails, black bear, moose and elk in every condition Manitoba throws my way, my Zeiss equipment has always performed at 100%.  Low lighting coniditons, sleet, snow, rain, heavy winds, etc..., my Zeiss rifle scopes, Zeiss spotting scopes and Zeiss binoculars are top notch and make my job guiding and personal hunting experiences that much better.  Having that piece of mind, knowing i have Zeiss at any time and conditions is an edge in itself!  For more information on Zeiss products, email our good friend Bob Kaleta of Zeiss Optics at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
