With the 2011 fishing season behind us, we would like to take this oppurtunity to thank everyone that came through our lodge during the spring, summer and fall fishing seasons. Although we had to endure the Lake Manitoba flood, the walleye fishing was absolutely incrediable and a record 300+ "Master Angler"(MA) walleye where caught, released and recorded at our lodge. That is only the ones we know of!!! Thank you to all guests who caught and released these breeding walleye, which will definetley help in the excellent future this fisherie has to offer.

Some quick notes: We are pleased to be able to offer our guests next year, our brand new fish house which has BOTH hot and cold running water and lots of freezer space for your convienience. The "NEW" West Waterhen boat launch was just finally completed last week and turned out excellent. This is also very exciting news for the area and was way past due. Our main boat launch at the lodge was also re-done this past fall and will also be ready for the start of the 2012 fishing season. And last but not least, "Congratulations" to Mr. Bud Burger of Bemidji,MN for winning our annual walleye fishing derby with a monster which measured a whopping 33 inches. Congratulations once again Bud!!!!
