Only 11 more sleeps till our fishing opener! Water levels in both rivers are back to normal thanks to all the rain the last few days. Lots of run-off which we did'nt have earlier due to lack of snow is evident now as all creeks and rivers emptying into Lake Winnipegosis are up to the banks. The early spring and warm temperatures before all this rain, should make for a great may and june run. Walleye should be done spawning and very active. Weather is supposed to get nice by thursday and looks to be good too for the weekend opener. Night crawlers where picked up today and leeches will be in soon and are always deadly once the water temperature warms up(june/july). Come opener, still fishing or trolling a bottom bouncer/spinner tipped with a frozen "Lake Manitoba" shiner will be hot!!

Looking forward to another great fishing season and please remember, we have boat/motors, cabins and serviced camping for fisherman till freeze up.
