Reports from guests this morning is that the West Waterhen River is starting to heat up. Working really good for them this morning was chartrusse spinners tipped with night crawlers. Traditionally, end of june or beginning of july is when this river heats up. If it is anything like the last 6 years, fishing will be unbelievable now on both rivers till freeze up. Also last night, guests where catching good at "the rocks" in front of the lodge in 8-9 feet of water using pink and white jigs tipped with both leeches and berkley power baits.
