Most hunters choose to hunt fields for the abundance of Canada and Snow geese in the morning, then hunt divers over water or puddle ducks in the fields for a spectacular evening hunt. Many mornings however, limits of mallards and pintails are taken while goose hunting. This creates one problem, which is either enjoy spectacular ruffed grouse hunting or world class walleye fishing! So much to do!! Bird Cleaning is NOT included, however can be arranged with prior notice ( Please call for pricing).
Bird Cleaning Facilities, clean water and freezers are also available at the Lodge for those who prefer to clean their own birds.

We welcome all hunting dogs to the Agassiz-Waterhen River Lodge, however, when not out in the field, all dogs must be kennelled around the lodge at all times.
